We had a great time in St. Thomas last week. One day we took a ferry to Water Island just to the south of mainland St. Thomas and went kayaking. There wasn't a whole lot to see because we couldn't go very far because of the Christmas winds (gusting to 45 knots). However, we did see four sea turtles! They swam beside us for quite a while. Absolutely beautiful. I've been diving with them before but never paddle boarding. And the others in my party had never even seen a sea turtle in the wild so it was a great day!
